The Client.

Founded in Denmark in 1970, KOMPAN have branched out and now enjoy global success. Our client, KOMPAN UK are based in Milton Keynes, and specialise in designing and installing children’s playground equipment, bespoke play areas, outdoor fitness, and themed playgrounds, as well as inspecting and maintaining existing playgrounds. Having recently celebrated their 50th anniversary, KOMPAN are a well-respected business within the industry, responsible for over 25% of the total market share.

The Challenge.

We started working with our client-partner, KOMPAN UK, back in October 2019. Having worked with a digital agency prior to partnering with us which yielded limited results, KOMPAN were still convinced by the value of what digital marketing could provide, however, needed to regain their trust of a third party agency.
Looking specifically at the UK branch of the global business we could see that the brand was well recognised locally, however, they were struggling to gain the organic search visibility that they needed to reach the broader, national audience.
KOMPAN UK came to us with two goals; to secure the top spots in search for a number of key terms related to their industry, and to increase their current flow of leads to promote optimal business growth within the UK market.

Our Solution.

Our SEO solution comprised of thorough research, establishing new search opportunities, competitor analysis, and a number of different web audits.
With a clear path established we moved onto strategy, outlining specific SEO tactics that we have tried and tested before and ones we know can produce great results, considering both quick-wins and the long term success of the campaign.
Our SEO solution involved a number of moving parts to generate optimal results, including technical web audits to help identify improvements, and content research to make the most of the selected keywords.
Consistent monitoring and analysis allowed us to continually optimise the SEO campaigns, explore new routes of promotion and link-building, and identify any content gaps we could leverage to get ahead of competitors.

The Results.

Having worked with this fantastic client over the last two years we have seen exponential growth for the business. KOMPAN UK informed us that after conducting one of our SEO projects the UK website was ranking no.1 for traffic, lead generation, and sales – this was out of 42 European websites! As a result of this fantastic work, KOMPAN UK made further investments into their SEO marketing.

Whilst meeting the objectives of the client, we’ve been able to optimise a large number of keyword positions onto the first page, totalling an increase of 182 positions. This also includes improving the ranking of other terms that were already on the first page. Expanding on key term reach, leveraging long-tail keyword opportunities, and in turn, producing better quality traffic.
Like with many of our other client-partners, we continue to work alongside this business, at the point of writing we’ve managed to secure a further five top spots of their highly competitive keywords.
Having arrived at Bright Design with little trust working with SEO agencies, KOMPAN UK have continued working with us longer than any previous digital marketing agency, and have increased their retainer based upon a significant improvement on results over time.
